Our office is tucked away in Lalwani Mohalla, over in Drangbal. We are set up at Shabir Ahmad Mir’s house, specifically with Mehraj-Ud-Din as well. It’s a local neighborhood where everyone knows each other, so it’s not hard to find us if you ask around. Agrishelfone Producer Company Limited is really just a bunch of us trying to get things organized for the local growers. The streets here are narrow and you see kids playing out front most afternoons. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy. We just have our desks and our files in a room that serves as our main base. Working from this part of town means we are close to the people we actually work with. There is no point in being far away in some industrial park when the heart of the activity is right here in the mohalla. We spend a lot of time talking about the soil and the crops and what the market looks like this week. It’s practical stuff. Sometimes we lose power or the internet goes slow, but we just manage like everyone else does around here. We aren't trying to be some massive corporation. We are just a producer company that started out because there was a need for it. Everyone chips in where they can. It’s a lot of manual tracking and staying in touch with the families nearby. That’s just how we do things in Drangbal.
