Vijila Creations

Vijila Creations is set up at 26 North Street over in Darapuram. If you know the Kumbakonam area, specifically Darasuram, you will know the streets can get a bit narrow and busy during the middle of the day. Our spot isn't anything fancy, just a regular place where we get our work done. Most mornings start with unlocking the front door and checking if the mail came. The building has been here for a while and shows its age in some spots, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time at our desks or talking to people who drop by the street. It is mostly locals around here, so you hear the usual neighborhood noises all day. There is a bit of dust from the road that we have to wipe off the counters every few hours. Sometimes the power flickers, but that is just how things go around North Street. We keep a few chairs for when someone needs to sit down and wait for a bit. There isn't a lot of space for parking right in front, so people usually find a gap further down the block. We don't have any big signs or bright lights, just the name on the door so people know they have the right place. It is a simple setup and we like being part of the Darasuram rhythm. Most days are quiet until the afternoon rush when things pick up outside.
