Tamizhan Computers

You can find us at No 2/15 Jabamalai Street, which is right off the Madras Main Road. Tamizhan Computers has been a fixture here for a while now. The shop is small and filled with the smell of electronics and maybe a bit of coffee from the place next door. We start the day by pulling up the shutters and seeing what work came in the day before. The Madras Main Road is always loud with buses and bikes, so Jabamalai Street feels a little more relaxed once you turn the corner and walk toward us. We spend a lot of time on the floor or hunched over desks, trying to figure out why a motherboard isn't working or setting up new systems for local offices. It is a bit of a tight squeeze when more than two people are inside at once, but we have gotten used to working around each other. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that, just this one room where we keep our tools and parts. Most of our day is spent talking to people about their technical problems and trying to explain things in a way that makes sense. It isn't always easy, especially when the parts are hard to find, but we keep at it. Being near the main road helps with getting things delivered quickly. We are just a local crew trying to keep things running for everyone in the neighborhood.
