Selvaa Ready Mix Concrete

We run the concrete plant out at #9 in Dharasuram. It's a place where the mixers are always turning. Dealing with ready mix means we have to watch the clock constantly. Once that cement starts mixing, it has to get where it's going. The yard is usually full of trucks and piles of sand and gravel. It's a loud place, to be honest. We have a small crew that keeps the machinery running. We spend a lot of time checking the loads and making sure the drivers know where they are headed. Dharasuram is a busy area, and our trucks are always moving through the streets. We don't have a fancy showroom because our product is just wet concrete. People call us up when they are pouring a foundation or a roof. It’s messy work. My boots are always covered in grey splashes. We've been at this location for a while now. The sun gets hot on the gravel, but we just keep the water running and the drums spinning. Sometimes things break down and we have to fix the belts or the bins ourselves. It's just how a concrete plant works. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We just provide the mix and hope the rain stays away while the guys are pouring. It is a long day every day, starting before dawn mostly. We keep our tools ready and the water tanks full so the concrete stays right.
