Jaimaruthi Exports & Imports is over at No. 1/304 Sivankovil Street in Baburajapuram. We are located near the post office and you reach us via Swamimalai. Sivankovil Street is named after the temple, so it has a very local, traditional feel to it. The area is quite peaceful compared to the big city centers. Our building is a simple one, tucked into the street among other small businesses and houses. We’ve been operating from here for some time now. The workspace is a bit of a mix of everything. We have piles of paperwork on the desks and boxes stacked up against the walls. It’s a functional space where we handle both exports and imports. Most of our morning is spent answering emails and checking the latest schedules for shipping. The pace is steady but not frantic. We know our neighbors well, and often stop to talk for a minute when we are out on the street. Working in Baburajapuram is nice because it feels like a community. We don't have a shiny lobby or anything like that. When you come in, you see the actual work happening right there. We use old wooden desks and chairs that have been around as long as the business has. It’s a practical setup that works for us.
