Panacea Worldwide Traders

Down at 40 P. Shanmugam Street in Kumbakonam, you’ll find our little operation. Panacea Worldwide Traders might sound like a big name, but we’re just a small group working out of a modest building. Kumbakonam is a place with a lot of tradition, and we like being part of the local community. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or checking the latest shipping schedules. Trading internationally means we have to keep track of different time zones, so sometimes we’re here earlier or later than the other shops on the street. Our workspace is filled with stacks of ledgers and folders. We don't have a fancy interior designer; we just put shelves where there was space for them. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do. We deal with various products, and the variety keeps things from getting boring. One day we might be looking at textiles, and the next it’s something entirely different. We don't have any polished sales pitches or glossy brochures to hand out. If someone wants to know what we do, they can just come by and ask. We just focus on doing the work properly and let the results speak for themselves. The local tea stall is just a few doors down, and that’s where we usually end up at the end of the day to unwind. It’s a simple life, and we’re quite content with it.
