Aarna Agro Exports

Our place is at 565 in Hudikeri. It’s a small village area, and things move pretty slowly here compared to the bigger towns. We work with agro exports, which basically means we spend our time collecting produce from the local farms and getting it ready to be sent elsewhere. It is a lot of physical work. You’re often moving heavy bags or spending hours checking the quality of a single batch. The building we use is functional and old, with thick walls that keep it somewhat cool in the summer. We don't have any fancy signs or a big office. We just have what we need to get the job done. Sometimes the roads out of Hudikeri are not the best, so getting the trucks loaded and moving can be a bit of a challenge. We just take it as it comes. Most of the people working here are from around the village. We know the farmers personally, and they know us. It’s more about the relationships than anything else. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we have to. It's better to be out where the goods are, making sure everything is moving like it should. It’s a decent life, working with the land and the seasons. There is always some dust on the floor and a bit of noise from the sorting, but we don't mind it much.
