Down at Plot No. 37 in the SIPCOT 2nd Phase on Krishnagiri Road, you’ll find our place, Viyoma Computer Aided Mfg. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, but we usually just call it Viyoma when we’re talking among ourselves. We’ve been part of this industrial hub for a while now. Even though the name sounds very high-tech, at the end of the day, we’re still just a manufacturing shop. We use computers to help with the design and the cutting, but it still takes a real person to oversee the machine and make sure nothing goes wrong with the metal. The building is a standard industrial shed, nothing too fancy to look at from the outside road. Inside, it’s a mix of computer screens and heavy iron machines. We do a lot of precision work that requires a steady hand and a very good eye for detail. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in, which is just part of daily life here. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in the country. We just want to stay busy and keep our customers happy with the parts we produce for them. Our team is a mix of young guys who are good with the software and older hands who know the machines inside out. It works well. We keep the coffee pot going and the machines humming along all day long.
