Our shop is located at number 109 in the Rajeswari Layout. It’s over in the Begapalli area, which is a bit of a drive from the main city center. We moved here because we needed the space for the CNC machines. They take up a lot of room and they make a fair bit of noise when they are running. The layout itself is mostly quiet, which is a nice change from the busier industrial zones. We have a few guys who handle the programming and the loading of the machines. The floor is concrete and we try to keep it swept, but there are always metal chips everywhere. It smells like cutting oil and old coffee in here. Our front door is just a heavy metal rolling shutter that stays open during the day to let some air in. We don't have a fancy showroom or a big lobby. If you come by, you’ll just see us in our work clothes. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late because the trucks get lost in the layout. We just point them toward the landmark near the post office. It’s a practical way to run a business. We stay busy with the orders that come in. Most of our days are spent checking measurements and making sure the machines are calibrated right. It’s repetitive work sometimes, but we don’t mind the routine. We take our tea breaks under the tree outside when the weather is decent. It’s just a normal workshop.
