If you go down Dharmaraja Koil Road in Krishnagiri, you will find us at number 40. R.S.Agro Impex is mostly about moving agricultural products from the local farms to wherever they need to go. Krishnagiri is a good place for this kind of work because there is so much growing all around us. The office is a bit old, with high ceilings and heavy wooden doors that creak when you open them. We don't have air conditioning that works all the time, so we keep the windows open and let the breeze in. There is usually a layer of red dust on the windowsills from the road outside. We spend a lot of time talking to truck drivers and checking the quality of the grain or whatever we are shipping that week. It’s honest work and it gets us out of the office a lot. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy emails. We just pick up the phone and talk to people. Sometimes the rains make the roads difficult and things get delayed, which causes a lot of headaches, but we manage to sort it out. It’s a local business run by local people who understand how the seasons affect the market. We just keep our heads down and do the work that needs doing. It’s been this way for years and we don’t expect it to change anytime soon.
