We are based out of No. 43 in the Sidco Industrial Estate, over in Phase IV. It’s a big industrial area with lots of similar warehouses and factories. Our building is pretty plain on the outside, but inside it’s full of activity. We deal with industrial products and engineering parts. There is always a truck being loaded or unloaded at the bay. The floor is usually marked with yellow tape and there's a constant hum from the equipment. It’s not the kind of place you’d go for a tour, but it's where the real work happens. We have a small office tucked in the corner where the paperwork gets handled. The rest of the space is for production and storage. Most of us have been working here together for a long time. We know how the machines sound when they’re running right and when they need a bit of oil. It’s a hands-on environment. We don’t bother with corporate slogans or anything like that. We just focus on the orders we have for the week. It gets busy and sometimes we have to stay late to finish a batch. That’s just part of the industry. We like the grit and the hard work of being in an industrial estate like Sidco. It feels like we're actually making things. The rain can get pretty loud on the tin roof during the monsoon, but we just keep working through it.
