You can find us at number 79 on the Old Ambur Road. We are based in Pernambut, which is part of the Gudiyattam Taluk in Vellore. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here, but it's where we need to be. The road out front gets pretty dusty when the trucks go by. It’s a simple building, nothing that stands out too much. We spend most of our time dealing with the logistics of the projects in the district. It’s a tight-knit group here. We know the local shopkeepers and where to get the best coffee in the morning. The weather in Vellore is famously hot, so we usually have the windows open to catch any bit of air. We don't have a big reception desk or anything like that. You just walk in and someone will be there at a desk. We’ve got a lot of maps and charts pinned to the walls. It’s a bit old-fashioned, but it works for us. We don't try to impress anyone with big words or fancy offices. We just focus on getting the day's tasks sorted out before it gets too dark. It’s a quiet life mostly, aside from the traffic on the Ambur road. We’ve been here long enough that the place feels like a second home to most of the staff. We just get on with it and try to stay productive despite the heat.
