Over in Hosur, at No 57 in the 9th Phase Housing Board, that is where you will find us. Little Elly is a bit of a local fixture for the families living in this part of the town. It is a colorful place because we try to make it look nice for the kids. We have some outdoor space where they can run around, and the rooms inside are filled with toys and books. It’s a preschool, so don't expect it to be quiet. There is usually someone crying or someone laughing or someone running down the hall. We just take it as it comes. The staff here is used to the noise. We spend our mornings helping the little ones with their snacks or teaching them songs. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but the kids seem to like it. The Housing Board area is quite residential, so we see a lot of the same neighbors walking by every day. We don't have a big corporate team; it’s just a handful of us making sure everything is safe and clean. Sometimes we have to fix a broken toy or paint a wall that got scuffed up. By the time the parents come to pick the kids up in the early afternoon, we are usually pretty tired. We tidy up the classrooms, put the blocks away, and get ready to do it all again.
