You can find Kal Exports at No 30 Main Road in Bargur. Being right on the main road means it’s never quiet. There’s always the sound of buses and bikes going past. We’ve been in this building for quite some time. It’s an old place with high ceilings and thick walls that stay cool even when it’s baking outside. We mostly deal with local goods that we send off to other places. It involves a lot of weighing things and double-checking the labels. We have a small staff, just a few of us who have known each other for years. We don't really have formal meetings; we just talk over our desks. If someone brings in snacks, we all stop for ten minutes. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere until a big deadline hits. Then it’s all hands on deck to get the containers loaded. We don’t have a website that looks like a million dollars because we’d rather spend that time on the floor checking the products. People in Bargur know where we are if they need us. We’ve become a bit of a fixture on this stretch of the road. It’s just honest work. We wake up, come in, do the shipping, and go home to our families. It’s a good enough life for us.
