Anish Exports

You can find us at No. 2 /282 B over near the Thogarapalli X Road. It’s a busy spot because of the junction. Anish Exports has been here since the road was a lot smaller. We see a lot of people passing through on their way to Mathur. Our work is mostly about coordinating shipments. It’s a lot of waiting for the right transport to arrive. We have a small office space that’s mostly filled with stacks of documents and some samples of what we export. The dust from the road comes in sometimes, so we spend a lot of time cleaning the desks. It’s not a big operation, just a few local people working together. We don’t have fancy uniforms or big meetings. We just sit around the table and figure out the schedule for the week. Sometimes things go wrong with the transport, and we have to spend the whole afternoon on the phone trying to fix it. That's just how it goes in this line of work. We’ve learned to be patient. Living and working near the crossroad means we are always in the middle of things. We like it here because it’s easy for the trucks to find us, even if the traffic gets a bit much during the market days. We usually keep some spare ropes and tape in the corner because you never know when a box might need extra help.
