Ahamed Traders

We've been here at Ahamed Traders on Sekkalai Road for a long while now. It's just a regular spot in the Kuthus Complex, number 325 to be exact. The shop isn't fancy or anything like that. Most mornings start with unlocking the shutters and getting the dust off the counters before the first people walk in. We deal with various goods and supplies that folks around here need for their daily work. Sometimes the street gets pretty loud with all the traffic passing by, but we've gotten used to it. My cousin helps out when things get busy, though usually, it's just a couple of us handling the orders. People come in asking for specific parts or materials, and we do what we can to find what they're looking for in the back room. It’s a lot of lifting boxes and checking inventory lists by hand. We don't have a big fancy computer system for everything, so we write things down in the ledger. It works for us. The tea stall next door brings over a few cups in the afternoon which helps get through the slow hours. We know most of the people who stop by by their first names since they live or work nearby. It’s just a normal way to spend the day, really. Nothing too exciting happens, just steady work and making sure the shelves aren't empty when someone needs something. We’ve seen the neighborhood change over the years, but the shop stays mostly the same.
