Vishnu Rice Industry

Out here in Yelluru, things move at a bit of a slower pace compared to the bigger cities. Vishnu Rice Industry is situated right in the heart of this area near Machilipatnam. We spend our time working with the grains that the local land provides. It is hard work, mostly physical, and your clothes always end up covered in husk by the end of the shift. We have been operating this way for a while now. The building is practical, nothing too special to look at, just a place where the work gets done. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to wait around, which can be frustrating when there is a lot of rice to process. The guys who work here live nearby, so we all know each other well. We eat our lunch together under the shade when it gets too hot in the afternoon. People in Machilipatnam know where to find us if they need anything related to rice. We don't really have a front office with a receptionist or anything like that. If you come by, you just walk in and look for someone who isn't too busy. Most of the time, the air is thick with the smell of toasted grain. It is a steady rhythm of loading and unloading bags. We just keep our heads down and try to keep the machines in good shape for the next day.
