Vijayadurga Hardwares

Vijayadurga Hardwares is tucked into Shop 3-2-157 within the Mohanti Market. We are right on Gr Road in the Governorpet area, which is one of the busiest spots you could imagine. There are always people moving through the market, and our shop is right in the middle of all that energy. We sell all the usual things you would expect from a hardware store, like hammers, saws, pipes, and boxes of screws. The shelves are packed all the way to the top, and we usually have to use a ladder to get what someone wants from the upper rows. It’s not a very organized-looking place, but we know exactly where every single item is hidden in the back. Governorpet is a place where people like to bargain, and we spend a good part of our day talking with customers about prices and what parts they really need for their home repairs. We don't have a website or any automated system here. We just write everything down on paper pads with a pen. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks, and the light isn't the brightest, but it works for what we do. We've seen many other shops come and go in Mohanti Market over the years, but we just keep opening up every morning at the same time. It’s a lot of standing around and moving heavy boxes, but we enjoy being part of the Gr Road community and helping folks.
