Vijaya Durga Marble Granite & Tiles is right on the Hyderabad 45National Highway in Gollapudi. Our spot is 2B and you can find us easily because we are right opposite the Cross Roads Restaurant. Being on the highway means there is always noise from the cars and trucks passing by. It never really gets quiet here. The dust from the road and the stone work settles on everything. We sell a mix of marble, granite, and tiles. The yard is usually packed with crates and slabs. Since we are right across from the restaurant, we often go over there for a quick meal or a tea. It is a good landmark for people trying to find us. The shop is not anything special to look at from the outside, but it holds everything we need to do our jobs. We spend our days showing people the different patterns in the marble or helping them pick out tiles for a floor. It is a lot of walking back and forth. The sun hits the highway hard, and it gets really hot on the pavement. We do not have any fancy displays. We just lean the slabs against the walls so people can see them. It is honest work and it keeps us on our feet. Sometimes the traffic is so bad it takes forever to get a truck out of the yard.
