Vanlat Durga Hair Cutting Saloon

Vanlat Durga Hair Cutting Saloon is located on Dabakotha Road in the Singh Nagar area of Vijayawada. We are quite close to Vivekananda School, so we get a lot of students coming in after their classes are over. The shop is a small, honest place where we spend most of our daylight hours. We have been here for a good while, and the neighborhood knows us well. It is a busy street, and there is always something going on outside. Inside, we have our combs, clippers, and several bottles of hair oil lined up on the shelf. The mirrors are old but they still do the job. We don’t have a lot of space, so if three or four people are waiting, it feels pretty full. We have a small fan that rattles a bit, but it keeps the heat away. Most people come in for a basic cut. We don’t do anything too stylish, just what people need to stay neat. On holidays, it can get really busy, and we are on our feet from morning until late evening. We try to keep the place tidy, but hair gets everywhere when the shop is full of customers. It’s just a regular local saloon where neighbors meet and talk while they wait their turn. Singh Nagar is a lively place, and we are glad to have our shop right here on Dabakotha Road, serving the people who live nearby.
