Our workshop is out in Kanchikacherla, right off NH-65 in the Krishna district. We are situated very close to the gas company, so most people find us that way. It’s a dusty place because of all the work we do and the big road right there. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or some machine running in the background. We don’t have a fancy office with a carpet; it’s just concrete floors and heavy tools everywhere. The heat from the sun and the machines can get pretty intense, especially in the middle of the day. We usually have the big front doors open to catch whatever air moves through. It’s a lot of manual work, and our hands are rarely clean by the time the day ends. We focus on the jobs that come in, whether they are small repairs or bigger tasks for the local area. There is a lot of grease, some scrap metal in the corner, and the smell of oil. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a simple life, being right here by the highway and seeing the trucks roll past while we handle the engineering stuff. We don't have a lot of time for sitting around. When a job needs doing, we just get to it and make sure it is finished properly.
