Praveen Rice Mill

Praveen Rice Mill is located at Plot No.380/2 on Eluru Road in Gannavaram. We are very close to the bus stand, which makes it easy for people to find us. The sound of the buses coming and going is the background music to our day. Running a rice mill involves a lot of heavy lifting and moving bags around. It’s a big space because we need room for the processing and the storage of the paddy. There’s always a bit of a hum from the machinery. We don't really have a front desk or a receptionist. If you come by, you’ll probably find us on the mill floor or near the loading area. It’s a messy job sometimes, with husks and dust flying around, but that’s how it goes. We work long hours when the harvest comes in. During those times, the mill runs late into the night. It is just the way we do things here. We aren't worried about looking corporate. We just care that the rice is processed properly and the bags are filled. The floor is concrete and hard on the feet, but we are used to it. Gannavaram is a busy place, and we are glad to be part of the hustle and bustle on Eluru Road. It’s just us, the machines, and a lot of rice. We've been here for a good while and plan to stay for many more years, just doing the work.
