Happydays Family Restaurant

Our restaurant is sitting at Door No 24-12-19 on Ghantasala Musical College Road. We are right in Durgapuram, very close to the Music College here in Vijayawada. It’s a nice area, usually you can hear some music or instruments if you walk by at the right time. We wanted a place where families could just come and sit without feeling like they had to dress up. We have some large tables for big groups and some smaller ones for just a couple of people. The decor is pretty basic, just some pictures on the walls and plain curtains. We keep the kitchen running all through the afternoon and evening. Sometimes when the college has an event, we get a huge rush of students and things get a bit loud, but we like the energy. Our staff is mostly local guys from the neighborhood. We don’t have a computer system for orders, we just write everything down on slips of paper. It works well enough for us. The floor is tiled and easy to mop, which is good because things spill sometimes. We’ve been a part of Durgapuram for a while now and we see the same faces every week. It’s not a complicated operation. We just cook the food, bring it out, and hope people leave with full stomachs. If you’re near the Music College and looking for a place to sit, we are right there.
