We are over at 41-2 on Post Office Road in Rayampuram. It’s a pretty quiet street most of the time, except when the post office gets busy. We’ve been operating out of this small building for quite a while. It’s a family-run kind of thing, mostly. We handle general supplies and some paperwork for local folks. The building is painted a dull yellow, and we have a small porch where we sit sometimes when it’s not too hot. We don't have a website or any of that stuff, just a phone and a ledger. People know us by name around here. We usually open around nine and close when the sun starts to go down. Sometimes we stay late if a neighbor needs something urgent. It’s not a high-stress place. We have a ceiling fan that makes a clicking noise, but we don't mind it. Rayampuram is a small enough place that word of mouth is all we really need. We just try to be honest with people and do the work right. If we don’t have something, we usually know who does. It’s just a simple business on a simple street. We’ve seen the town change a bit over the years, but our spot stays mostly the same. Sometimes we get a lot of rain and the street floods, but we just put the boards up and wait it out. It’s been our home for a long time.
