Thanima Food Products

We are located at 58/89 in Malappuram, specifically in the Sangarankulam area of Tirussur. It is a busy little spot and we have been running Thanima Food Products from this location for several years now. The kitchen area is where we spend most of our time, and it’s usually quite humid because of the big pots we have boiling. We make everything in small batches because we don’t have the room for huge vats. My cousins help me out with the prep work and the cleaning, which seems to never end. There is always a pile of bowls or some floors that need scrubbing after we finish for the day. We don't have a showroom or a place for people to sit, it’s mostly just a production space with a small counter at the front. The labels are sometimes a bit crooked because we put them on by hand while the bags are still a bit warm. We buy our supplies from the local market early in the morning before the sun gets too strong. It is hard work and our backs usually ache by the time we lock up in the evening. We don’t do any big promotions or ads, people just know our name from word of mouth in the town. We just try to keep the place clean and make sure we don't run out of ingredients before the weekend starts.
