Soulcities Urban Infrastructure Llp is located in Room No. 16/642 of the Thottasseri Building. We’re right in the middle of Kakkodi Bazar in Kozhikode. It’s a very active area with people always coming and going from the shops nearby. Our office is just a small room in an older building that has a lot of character. We focus on urban infrastructure, which is a fancy way of saying we work on the stuff that makes the town run better. Kakkodi is a place that is changing quickly, and we see that from our window every day. The office is usually a bit cluttered with maps and project files. We don’t have a receptionist or a fancy waiting room. If someone comes in, they just pull up a chair. We spend a lot of time discussing how to improve local layouts and dealing with the logistics of city growth. It’s practical work and it can be quite a headache sometimes with all the regulations. But we’ve been here for a while and we know the local system. The people in the bazaar know us as the infrastructure guys in the Thottasseri building. We don’t do any big promotions or anything. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever project is currently on the desk. It’s a good way to stay involved with the local Kozhikode community while doing something useful for the urban area.
