Comp Land

We are located up on the first floor of the Markaz Complex. If you know Mavoor Road, you know it gets pretty busy and loud out there. We have been here at Comp Land for a good while now. It all started because a few of us really liked messing around with machines and computer parts in our spare time. Now it is a full-time job for us. The shop is usually a bit cluttered with boxes, spare parts, and cables. It is not the cleanest looking place in the world, but we know exactly where everything is hidden. People come up the stairs looking for a specific part or maybe because their laptop stopped turning on. We take a look at it. Sometimes it is an easy fix, and sometimes we have to tell them it is not worth the money. We try to be straight with people like that. There is no point in lying about a motherboard that is totally fried. Mavoor Road has everything, so there is plenty of competition, but we just focus on whatever is on our workbench. The fans in the shop are always humming to keep the equipment cool. It is a sound we have gotten used to over the years. We keep a stash of old parts in the back because you never know when some obscure cable might be needed. Most shops throw that stuff away, but we like to be prepared for the older machines too.
