Our place is at Door No.18/84A in Puthiyedatheravattur, which is under the Perambra P.O. It’s a local operation here at Sougandhika Business & Building Developm Ent Llp. The name is a bit long, but we’re just a regular bunch of people working on building developments. We focus on getting things done in and around Perambra. The office isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we keep our files and meet up in the morning before heading out. We handle a mix of business development and actual building work. Most days involve talking to contractors or checking on land plots. It gets pretty hot out here during the summer, which makes the site visits a bit exhausting. We don't have a big marketing department or anything like that. Word of mouth is usually how people hear about us. We just try to be honest about how long a job will take and what it’s going to cost. Sometimes we're late finishing up because of rain or labor issues, but we always stay until the job is actually finished. It’s a small community, so you can’t really hide if you do a bad job. We just keep our heads down and work on whatever project is in front of us. It keeps us out of trouble and the bills paid. The office is quiet most afternoons when we are out on site.
