S T L Engineering

We’ve been here on Francis Road for a good while now. The shop at 16/661 isn't anything fancy, just a solid place where we get the engineering work done every day. It gets pretty loud sometimes with the machines running, but that's just how it goes when you're working with metal and parts. Most people find us easily enough once they get to the West side of the road. We usually start early in the morning before the sun gets too high. There’s always a pile of drawings on the desk and some grease on the floor, which is pretty standard for an engineering setup like ours. We don't spend much time cleaning up for show because there's always another job coming in that needs doing. Sometimes the traffic outside gets a bit much, especially around the afternoon, but inside we just keep our heads down. It’s a small team here, just a few of us who know how the equipment works and how to fix things when they go wrong. We deal with all sorts of local projects. You won't find any shiny brochures or big sales pitches here. We just talk about the specs and the dimensions and get to it. It’s practical work. If you walk past the gate, you’ll probably hear the lathe or see one of us moving crates around. That’s just S T L Engineering. It’s not complicated, just regular work on a regular street in our corner of town.
