Our office, R - Five Engineering And Constructions Llp, is located on the 3rd floor of the UB Space building. It is right on MLA Road in Kottooly, Kozhikode. It’s a busy part of Kerala, and we like being here. We handle engineering and construction tasks. Most of the time, we are looking over drawings or talking to people about their building needs. It’s a lot of coordination between the office and the site. We don't have a big corporate feel or anything like that. It is just a handful of us making sure things get built properly. The stairs to the third floor keep us active, though there is a lift if you aren't feeling up for the climb. Kozhikode is a good place to work because things are always changing and people are always putting up something new. We just try to stay on top of the technical details. Sometimes things get a bit messy with all the paperwork, but we manage. We aren't trying to be the biggest firm out there, just one that does the job. You can usually hear the city noise from our windows while we work. It’s a practical space for practical work. We spend our mornings planning and our afternoons usually involve a lot of calls. Construction is a tough business but we have been at it for a while now.
