The office is tucked away in the 2 A spot at Annie Hall, right on Cross Road in Chalappuram. It’s a nice enough area, mostly quiet except for when the school nearby lets out or the local traffic picks up in the evening. We spend most of our time dealing with safety gear and different equipment that people need for their jobs. The shelves are usually stacked with various items, and sometimes it gets a bit cluttered if a big shipment comes in. I’ve been working here for a while and I know exactly where everything is, even if it looks messy to someone else. We don’t have a flashy storefront. It’s just a practical space where we can get our work done without too much fuss. Most of our regulars are local guys who know the area well. Sometimes we sit around and have tea when things slow down in the afternoon. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits or anything. We wear what’s comfortable because there’s a lot of moving boxes and checking inventory. Chalappuram has changed a bit over the years, more buildings going up, but our little corner on Cross Road stays pretty much the same. We just keep doing what we do, making sure the orders are right and the bills are paid. It’s a simple way to run a business, and it keeps us busy enough throughout the week. We aren't fancy, but we stay until the work is finished.
