Maa Vidya Tractors

Our main office is actually up on the 4th floor of the FMC Fortuna building on A.J.C. Bose Road. It might seem a bit strange to have a tractor business in a big building like that, but it’s where we handle all the sales and the complicated legal work. The street downstairs is always loud and full of people, which is a big change from the quiet farms where our machines actually end up working. We have a few desks set up in Block A-11. It’s usually pretty busy with customers coming in to discuss financing or to look at brochures of the latest models. We spend a lot of time on the phone with the mechanics and the transport teams. Sometimes the elevator in the building is slow, so we end up waiting around talking to the other people who work in the block. We’ve been in this location for a good while, and we know the area like the back of our hands. Dealing with heavy machinery means there is always a lot to keep track of. We aren't polished sales people. We just know our tractors and we know what a farmer needs to get through the day. It’s about being practical and making sure the paperwork is done right so the machines can get out of the city and to the fields where they belong.
