GEORISE FOUNDATIONS & CONSTRUCTIONS LLP

We started this place on Cherutti Road a while back. It’s usually pretty busy around here. Calicut gets hot, especially when you're out on a site looking at dirt and concrete all day. Our office is in the Trident Complex. Most days, we’re just making sure the piles are driven right and the foundation work is solid. It’s not fancy work, but it needs doing properly. My brother and I started with just a couple of machines and a lot of sweat. Now we have a few more people on the team. We spend a lot of time driving between the office and different sites across Kozhikode. You’ll mostly find us at the desk or looking over drawings. It’s hard work, digging holes and making sure everything is level. Sometimes the rain messes up the schedule, but that’s just how it goes in Kerala. We’ve been at this address for a bit now. People know where to find us if they have questions about a project. We don't do much advertising, mostly just word of mouth from folks who’ve seen our trucks around. We keep our tools clean and our boots muddy. It's a living. We just try to get the job done so we can go home to our families at the end of the day. The tea stall downstairs is where we get our morning start. Usually, there's a lot of paperwork to handle before we even get to the construction part. It's just us here.
