Focuz Edu Hub

We’ve been here at Focuz Edu Hub in Koduvally for a bit now. Our place is right on High School Road, which gets pretty crowded during the mornings when all the kids are heading to class. If you know the Koduvalli area, you know how the traffic gets around that time. It’s a simple setup we have here. There are a few desks, some chairs that aren’t the most comfortable, and a lot of papers stacked up on the tables. We mostly deal with educational things for the local students around Kozhikode. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we haven't really gotten around to doing it yet. Most of us working here are from around the neighborhood. We walk to work or take the bus. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit there talking for a while until it comes back on. It isn’t a fancy office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a practical space where we get our work done. We see a lot of familiar faces every day since everyone around High School Road knows each other. It gets a bit noisy with the vehicles passing by the front door, but you get used to it after a week or so. We usually have tea together in the afternoon from the stall nearby. That’s pretty much how it goes here. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us trying to keep things moving. It's a bit dusty because of the road work, but it's okay.
