City Books Distributors

We spend most of our time here at 30, Athanikkal moving boxes around. City Books Distributors isn't a fancy place, just a workspace where we keep track of what's coming in and going out to shops. Usually, the mornings are busy with deliveries arriving. We have piles of books everywhere, and sometimes it gets a bit crowded in the aisles. It is what it is. Athanikkal is a decent area to work out of, though the traffic can be a headache in the afternoons. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. Most people who drop by are just picking up orders or checking on stock levels. It’s a lot of paperwork and heavy lifting, honestly. We don't have a big sign or anything flashy outside. You just find the number 30 and that's us. Sometimes we run out of space and have to stack things near the door. It’s a bit messy but we know where everything is. The shelves are high and we use a small ladder that wobbles a little. We drink a lot of tea while we sort through the invoices. It's a quiet routine for the most part, except when the big trucks show up. We try to stay organized, but with so many titles passing through, something is always getting shifted. It’s just how the book distribution business works. We keep the lights on late some nights when a big shipment is due. That's pretty much the daily life here.
