Arakkal Foods And Spices

We are located over at Parambil Peedika Post, sharing space with Varnamahal Fabrics. It’s a bit of an unusual setup, but it works fine for us. Arakkal Foods And Spices is where we handle various local spices and food items. The fabric shop next door brings in a lot of people, and sometimes they wander over to see what we’re doing. We spend our days sorting, weighing, and packing spices. The air always smells like pepper and cardamom around here. It makes some people sneeze when they first walk in, but we’re used to it. We don't have a lot of fancy equipment. Most of the work is done by hand. We use small scales and simple bags. Being at Parambil Peedika is nice because it’s a quiet community. We know the postman and the people who live nearby. We don't have a big marketing budget or a website. Most of our customers are locals or people who have heard about us from their relatives. Sometimes the shipments of raw spices take a while to arrive, so we have to be patient. We keep our workspace clean, but it’s definitely a working environment, not a showroom. We aren't trying to be a huge corporation. We just want to provide decent spices to the people who want them. It’s a simple life and it keeps us busy enough.
