Rose Exports

Our place, Rose Exports, is located at 965 Sattur Road in Velayuthapurram. It is right on the main stretch there, so it is easy to find if you know where you are looking. The building has been here for a bit, and it shows in some of the corners, but it works for what we need. Most of the day is spent on the phone or walking back and forth to the storage area. Sattur Road stays busy with trucks, and the dust sometimes comes in if we leave the windows open too long. In Velayuthapurram, everyone kind of knows each other, so we see the same people passing by every day. We handle a lot of packing and making sure things are labeled correctly before they head out. It's a lot of manual checking. My desk is usually covered in sticky notes because I forget things if I don't write them down immediately. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been doing this long enough to know the routine. Lunch is usually brought from home and we eat it quickly between tasks. It's not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The paperwork can be a headache, especially when the rules change, but we just figure it out. We’ve got a rhythm here that seems to work, even when things get a bit chaotic with the shipping dates.
