Ninika Trading

Ninika Trading is located at 5/72-B in Thiruvanchoor. We are right across from the Devi Temple, which is the main landmark around here. Kottayam can be a rainy place, so we spend a lot of time making sure our stock stays dry. We trade a bit of everything, depending on what’s in demand. The building is just a regular house-style structure that we converted for our use. It’s not a shiny glass office building. We have a small porch where we sit and drink coffee when things are slow. During temple festivals, the whole road gets blocked, and we usually just give up on trying to move any trucks. We are a small operation, just a couple of us handling the orders and the paperwork. We don’t have a corporate strategy or a big Five-Year plan. We just look at what needs to be done today and we do it. Most of our neighbors are just regular families, so we try to keep the noise down. The work involves a lot of phone calls and checking the prices of things. We’ve been here for a while and most people in Thiruvanchoor know where to find us. It’s a quiet life for the most part, and we are fine with that. We don’t need any fancy titles or big offices to get our trading done. It keeps the days interesting and our hands busy.
