Mbmm Hospital

We’ve been here in Kothamangalam for a while now. Most people know where the hospital is because it’s just part of the local scenery at this point. The building isn’t brand new or anything, but it does what it’s supposed to do. Mornings usually start pretty early with the staff trickling in and the first few patients waiting near the entrance. It can get a bit loud outside when the traffic picks up, but inside we just try to keep things moving. We deal with all sorts of people from around the neighborhood. Some days are busier than others, especially when the weather changes and everyone seems to come down with something at the same time. We have our regular routines, like checking the inventory and making sure the rooms are tidy. It’s a lot of work, and sometimes the paperwork piles up on the front desk, but that’s just how it goes in a place like this. The hallway lights sometimes flicker a bit before they stay on, and the chairs in the waiting area have seen better days, but they’re comfortable enough. We don’t really do anything fancy here. It’s just about being here when someone needs to see a doctor or get a checkup. Most of the staff live nearby, so we all know the shortcuts through the back streets of Kothamangalam. It feels like a small community inside these walls. We just keep our heads down and handle whatever walks through the door.
