Karuna Hospital Pala

Down here in Pala, we run the Karuna Hospital which focuses on Ayurvedic treatments and our I.V.D.P clinic. It’s a bit different from your standard city hospital because we do things the traditional way. The building has that distinct smell of herbal oils and medicines, which most people find quite relaxing once they get used to it. We have been here in Pala for a while, and a lot of our patients come to us because they want a more natural approach to their health problems. It is a quiet place for the most part, not like those big hectic hospitals in the middle of a metro. We have rooms where people stay for their treatments, and the gardens outside are kept simple but green. The staff knows a lot about the old methods, and they spend a lot of time talking with the patients. It’s not the kind of place where you are rushed in and out in five minutes. We take the time to figure things out. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most modern facility in the world. We just want to provide the kind of care that has worked for generations. Our daily routine involves preparing the oils, checking on the people staying with us, and managing the clinic appointments. It’s steady work and it feels good to help people find some relief from their aches and pains using these time-tested ways. We just keep the medicine ready for whoever comes through our door.
