Dr.Zakhir Hussain Memorial Bharatiya Vidya Vihar

The name is quite long, so most of us here just call it Vidya Vihar or the school in Perunna West. We are located in Changanacherry, specifically in the Panachikavu area. It’s a quiet part of Kottayam, which is nice for a place where people are supposed to be learning. The building itself has been around for a while and you can tell by looking at its walls. We’ve got the Dr. Zakhir Hussain Memorial name on the front, though the letters might need a bit of a touch-up soon. Being near the Panachikavu P.O. means we get the postman coming by every day, and we know most of the people who live around Perunna West. It’s a very local feel here. The trees around the campus give some shade, which we really need when the Kerala humidity kicks in. Inside, it’s mostly just the sound of desks moving and teachers talking. It’s not a shiny, modern office building; it feels more like a lived-in space where things actually happen. We have some old wooden furniture and the floors are a bit worn down in the hallways where everyone walks. It’s just a regular part of the neighborhood. We don’t try to be anything we aren’t. People know us as the school down the road from the post office. It’s a steady place, and we’ve been here in 686101 for a long time now.
