We are located on Ammankari Road in the Kumarakom Post Office area, zip code 686563. If you know this part of Kerala, you know how green and quiet it can get once you move away from the main tourist hubs. Our place is tucked into that landscape. Hospitality is a bit of a fancy word, but for us, it just means making sure things are in order when people arrive. The air here is always a bit damp because of the water nearby, and you can hear the birds pretty much all day. We spend a lot of time outside, checking on the grounds and making sure the paths are clear of leaves. It’s not a high-pressure environment here. We move at a slightly slower pace because that’s just how Kumarakom is. The team here is mostly local guys and girls who know the Ammankari Road like the back of their hand. We don’t have a big corporate office or anything like that. Most of our planning happens over a quick meal in the back. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow when it rains, but we manage. We focus on the daily chores, like keeping the rooms fresh and the garden tidy. It is a simple life and a simple business. We just like being here and doing this kind of work in such a quiet part of the country.
