Caridas Hospital

This hospital is located out in Thellakom, right near the post office area. It has been part of this community for quite a bit of time now. We do not have a massive glass building or anything corporate, just a functional space where people come when they are sick or hurt. The days start very early here, with the nursing staff arriving before the sun is fully up sometimes. We have the regular wards and the outpatient area where people wait their turn to see a doctor. It is often very busy, especially on Monday mornings when everyone comes in. You can see the cars parked all along the road because our small lot fills up so fast. Inside, the walls are a plain color and the floors are always being mopped by the cleaning crew. We have a mix of young nurses and some who have been here since the place first opened. There is no fancy marketing team behind us, just us working the daily shifts. We deal with everything from common fevers to more serious stuff that requires staying for a few nights. Sometimes the wait times are a bit long, but that is just how it goes in a place like this. People from the surrounding villages come here because it is familiar to them. We just try to provide the care that is needed without making a big fuss about things. The atmosphere is just like any other local hospital—serious but very busy.
