Saritha Poultry Farm

We have our farm set up over several plots here in Thimmapur, across Sy.No.24/A and a few others nearby. It’s quite a bit of land to look after. Saritha Poultry Farm is where we spend all our time. Raising chickens isn't as easy as people think. There is always something to fix or a shed to clean out. We are out in the Kothur mandal, so it's a bit of a drive for some, but it’s good for the birds to have the space. Most days start really early before the sun is even up. We have to check on everything and make sure the water is running right. It’s a lot of manual labor. We don't have a big corporate team, just a few of us making sure the daily chores get done. The weather can be a real pain sometimes, especially when it gets too hot in the summer. We have to watch the birds closely then. Our address covers a few different survey numbers because the farm grew over the years. We’ve lived around here for a long time. People in Thimmapur know us. We just keep our heads down and do the work. It’s a simple life, but it keeps us busy. We don't have much time for anything else other than the farm. If you come by, you’ll likely find us in one of the sheds or checking the gates. It’s just how things are out here in the village.
