Porwal Tent House

Our business, Porwal Tent House, is located on Kotri Road in the Gumanpura area of Kota. We are right near Manak Bhawan, which most people who live around here know well. We deal with tents and all the stuff that goes along with them for various kinds of functions. It is a lot of heavy lifting and physical labor, especially when we have to set things up outside in the heat. We’ve been in Gumanpura for a long time. The shop is usually filled with poles, big rolls of fabric, and stacks of chairs. It gets pretty dusty, but that is just the nature of this kind of work. When someone has a gathering or a big event, they come to us to rent what they need. We load up the trucks and head out to the site. It is a real team effort to get everything standing upright and looking right. We don't have a fancy website or a big marketing plan to show off. Most of our work comes from people who have seen our tents at other events and asked for our name. Rajasthan can be a tough place to work outdoors, but we are used to the weather by now. We just focus on getting the tents up on time and making sure they are sturdy for the guests. It is a straightforward business and we like being part of the local community here in Kota.
