Raj D.J Sound

We are located in the main market of Barod, which is part of the Digod tehsil in the Kota district. Being in a rural market area means we know almost everyone who walks past our front door. Raj D.J Sound is basically a room full of speakers, amplifiers, and a lot of tangled wires that we are always trying to keep straight. When there is a festival or a wedding in the village, we load all the heavy equipment onto a trolley or a small tempo. It is dusty work and involves a lot of heavy lifting in the Rajasthan sun. We have been doing this for the local community for quite some time. The equipment needs constant cleaning and maintenance because of the dust here in Digod. We don't have a website or anything like that; people just come to the market and find us when they need sound for their event. Sometimes we have to travel to nearby villages, which takes a lot of time on the bumpy roads. It is a simple business. We just make sure the music is loud and the microphones work when they are supposed to. We are not technicians from the big city, just local guys who know how to handle the sound systems for a crowd. It is a noisy job, but someone has to do it for the local celebrations and gatherings.
