Tracer Shoe Store

People in Sri Ganganagar need shoes, and that's what we do here at Tracer Shoe Store. It’s a basic shop. We spend most of our time unboxing stock or helping someone find the right size for their kid. The floor gets a bit dusty by the afternoon, but that's how it is. We’ve been here a while. You walk in, look at what’s on the shelves, and try them on. Sometimes we have what you want, sometimes we don't. It’s mostly just us keeping things organized. The lighting isn't fancy. We deal with all sorts of people every day. Some know exactly what they want, others take an hour to decide on a pair of sneakers. We just keep the doors open. It’s a job like any other. Sri Ganganagar is hot, so we try to keep it cool inside. We have work boots, slippers, and regular walking shoes. Nothing too crazy. If you need something for your feet, we are usually around. We don't do much fancy advertising. Most people just walk by and stop in. We keep the boxes stacked up in the back. It’s a bit cramped behind the counter, but it works for us. Just a regular shoe shop on the street. We've seen the neighborhood change over the years. Some regulars come in just to chat while they browse. We try to keep the mirrors clean, but fingerprints happen. It's just life here. We usually close up around eight and head home. The stool we use for measuring feet is a bit wobbly.
