Supriya General Store

Supriya General Store is sitting right in the Mahaveer Nagar Vistar Yojana area of Kota, which is mostly a residential neighborhood with families and students. We started this place to give people a spot nearby where they could grab the basic stuff they need without having to go all the way to the main market. You will find things like soap, biscuits, notebooks, and milk packets on our shelves, and we try to keep a bit of everything so nobody leaves empty-handed. The shop is not very big, so it can feel a bit crowded when three or four people are inside at the same time, especially in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. I spend most of my day sitting behind the counter, greeting the regulars and watching the kids come in to pick out candy. Sometimes we run out of certain brands of chips or bread if the delivery guy doesn't show up on time, but we usually have something else that works. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights, just regular shelves and a ceiling fan that squeaks a little bit when it is on high. It is a quiet life for the most part, and we like being part of the daily routine for the people living in this colony. It is just a neighborhood shop where you can get your daily essentials and catch up on the local news.
