Stone Surfaces India Private Limited

Stone Surfaces India Private Limited is tucked away in Ward 07, number 431, right behind the Islamia School in Suket Salawad. This part of Kota is known for its stone, and that is exactly what we spend our time on. We work with various stone surfaces and it can be pretty loud and dusty work most of the time. Being near the school means we see the kids going back and forth while we are loading up slabs. It’s a very local operation. We don’t have a shiny showroom with air conditioning. We mostly just have our workshop and a small area for the paperwork. Suket is a place where people know their rock, and we try to fit into that tradition. Every stone has its own look and we spend a lot of time checking them over before they leave the yard. It is hard work on the hands and we are usually pretty tired by the end of the shift. We aren’t corporate types. We are just people who know how to handle stone. We’ve been at this for a while and we just keep things moving. There is always a new batch coming in or an order going out to a customer. It is just how life goes here in Kota. We don't worry about being fancy, we just worry about the stone being cut right.
