Shree Modren Dairy

Shree Modren Dairy is located out in Anantpura. It is a bit more open out here compared to the city center. We get started very early in the morning, usually before the sun is even up. That is just the way it is with a dairy business. The animals need tending to and the milk has to be ready. It is physical work and your clothes usually end up smelling like the farm. We do not have a lot of high-tech gadgets; it is mostly manual labor and traditional ways of doing things. The building is simple and serves its purpose. We have a few rooms for storage and the main area where we handle the containers. Anantpura is a quiet place for the most part, except for when the delivery vans are coming and going. We know the local farmers around here quite well. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit muddy, which is a pain for the trucks. We do not have a website or a social media page. Most people just know us because we have been in the area for years. We keep a calendar on the wall to track the deliveries. It is a straightforward life. We have a big metal gate at the entrance that creaks whenever someone comes through. It is the best way to know we have a visitor before they even reach the door. We focus on getting the product out and making sure the cans are clean. It is not a glamorous job.
